Intensive Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Power Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased attacks in recent weeks

Overnight, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water supplies, as stated by local authorities.

At the same time, a young boy was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to regional authorities.

Russian forces has increased attacks on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, the EU and the Group of Seven - in providing defensive weapons and implementing penalties," was stated in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty missiles struck energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.

A wave of strikes hit electrical systems and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people injured in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the metropolitan region endured intense attacks throughout the evening. A minor lost their life and multiple civilians were wounded.

The assaults succeed evenings of air raids in the area, portions of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to spot.

National leaders told reporters that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the national power system, with strikes already disrupting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and authorities were bracing for more assaults.
