The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
